Washington County Auditor Bill Fredrick has informed the Board of Supervisors that he is leaving his position early next year.  Fredrick was first appointed as Auditor in July 2001, formally elected in 2002 and reelected both in 2004 and 2008.  Each member of the Supervisors expressed their thanks for Fredrick’s years of service and how much each of them has learned from him.

Fredrick’s last day with Washington County is scheduled to be January 27th of next year.  A work session will be held next week to discuss filling the vacancy of the Auditor’s position.
