A donation has been made to the Washington County Relay for Life by Washington County 4-H’ers.  During this year’s Washington County Fair, 4-H members held a fundraiser called “Pink Week” where t-shirts, pink ribbons and tattoos were sold to raise funds toward conquering cancer.

The final total in the amount of $1332.70 was presented to Christina Waters, a Washington County Relay for Life representative.

Waters is also a 4-H alumnus, parent of a current 4-H member and a mother of a cancer survivor.

The funds were presented as part of the 4-H Award and Family Fun Night last weekend.
