The Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America is preparing an Environmental Assessment of new natural gas storage facilities across the Midwest. On the list of proposed improvements is a Compressor Station near Keota. There would be modifications made to Compressor Station 205 near Keota, including the addition of a 3,550 Horsepower gas-fired compressor and the replacement of the 6 inch diameter meter with a 10 inch diameter meter. The company will be seeking easements from land owners to construct and operate these new facilities.
