There will be a public hearing on December 8^th to discuss the option of making US 61 a 4-lane road from two miles south of Iowa 92 all the way to the Muscatine County line in Louisa County. The Iowa DOT will present the Environmental Assessment of the project, and discuss alternatives based on that assessment. The forum will be from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the Louisa-Muscatine Elementary Gym. The IDOT encourages the public to be present and share their ideas at the forum. The presentation will begin at 5:30, with a question and answer session afterwards.
