Theater Play Opens Tonight

[1]Cast from Left to Right: Melanie Hawkins, Melody Lockard, Steven Lockard, Brett PiersonThe newest play is opening tonight at the Washington Community Theater. The play “Leaving Iowa” is a comedic play about a man who is trying to find a proper resting place for this father’s ashes and is reminiscing about family vacations and Midwest values.
[2]Steven LockardSteven Lockard, who plays Don says the biggest challenge for him are the several long monologues. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children and the play begins at 7:30 tonight, tomorrow night and at 2:30 on Sunday afternoon.
