Monday night the Keota City Council held a special meeting to discuss a letter from the DNR regarding their sewer system. A response letter to the DNR was reviewed although no formal plans have been made.

Nikki Osweiler tells us the DNR indicated that they would like to discuss the issue further with the contractor hired for the project, Cameron Conrad.

They will continue to look at this issue, and hopefully meet with DNR representatives on November 7th at their formal meeting.
