The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk football team has advanced to the postseason. Mid-Prairie finished a 6-3 regular season with a 47-7 Senior Night win in Wellman over Central Lee. The victory gives Mid-Prairie the three seed entering the playoffs on Wednesday.

The Golden Hawks will be on the road at district five runner-up 7-2 Wilton. Wilton and Mid-Prairie matched up in the playoffs in 2005 and 2006 with Mid-Prairie winning both games.
