Fire Hydrant Flushing Starting This Week

[1]The City of Washington Maintenance and Construction Department will begin fire hydrant flushing this week. Maintenance and Construction Supervisor JJ Bell says they anticipate the flushing process to last 10 to 14 days beginning tomorrow.
He says during the flushing process, residents may experience loss of water pressure, discoloration, or rust.
If you have any questions regarding the hydrant flushing, contact the Washington Maintenance and Construction Department.
