The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard Quarterly Reports as part of their meeting yesterday.  Reports were presented from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, County Recorder and County Auditor.  County Recorder Jo Greiner says the recording fees for the month of September is the second highest they have been all year because of the housing market.

She adds the revenue tax in the month of September was the largest amount for the year.  Greiner says there was in increase in no-charge documents because of military discharges in August.

The Supervisors also passed a resolution for the placement of stop signs on east and westbound 130th Street at Hickory near Wellman.  Patterson says this will be on a temporary basis until a new intersection can be built with a lower incline and better sight view.
