A Avenue in Kalona will be opened tomorrow. The road was closed for the construction of a replacement bridge to cross the west ditch.

The bridge’s cost was roughly 500,000 dollars says Ryan Slabaugh, Kalona’s City Administrator.

Although the bridge is mostly complete, the road is closed to traffic until concrete pouring is completed.
