New Phone System Being Installed at Communications Center

[1]Dispatcher Isaac Kleese is receiving training on the new 911 phone systemThe Washington County Safety Center is putting on the finishing touches toward installing their new phone system. Cara Sorrells with the Safety Center says the Position Viper/Next Generation 911 system has the capability in the future of accepting text messages.
She says during this install, a third answering point is being added as well as the local database equipment is being updated to maintain remarks associated with phone records to help emergency responders.
The dispatchers have received the training on the new system it is in the process of going live soon.
