A bluegrass band featuring a graduate of Iowa Mennonite School will visit Kalona.  IMS Director of Development Larry Swartzendruber says The Steel Wheels will put on a concert featuring a variety of bluegrass music.

One band member has local ties to the school.  Brian Dickel is a 1994 IMS graduate and is the band’s bassist.

Tickets for the concert cost $12 for adults and $10 for students.  The show takes place Saturday, September 10 at 7:00 in Celebration Hall.
