The Washington Demons cross country team was suppose to open their season running in Ottumwa, but with very hot temperatures predicted it was decided they will not take part. Head Coach Steve Roth expressed concerns earlier this week about the conditions and how they would approach the meet. Then this morning it was decided it was best not to take the kids. The Demons are scheduled to run at Fairfield’s meet next Thursday.
