The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved certificates of appointment as part of their meeting yesterday.  These certificates of appointment are for Civil Process Servers with the Washington County Sheriff.  Sheriff Jerry Dunbar says a Civil Process Server has the ability to serve legal papers any place within the county.  Their terms run the same as the Sheriff’s.

The Supervisors also made a motion of support for a National Moment of Remembrance for September 11th.  At 12:00 Sunday, all city and county institutions along with churches are to join in a national moment of remembrance across the country.
