Washington County 4-H is looking to recognize volunteers who have had a big impact on 4-H this past year.  Amy Green, 4-H and Youth Coordinator says the adult awards came about to specifically recognize the adult volunteers in the county.

She says there are five awards that will be presented ranging from being a friend or partner in 4-H, 4-H Volunteer of the Year, a 4-H alumnus and 4-H Family of the year.  The nomination forms are due to the Extension office by the end of the month.

Green says these awards are for anyone involved in 4-H or others who have witnessed the volunteer in action.
