Washington Visited by Presidential Hopeful

[1]About 20 area residents had a chance to meet a presidential hopeful yesterday. Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum visited Washington as part of his “Courage to Fight for American Values” tour of Iowa this week. Mr. Santorum says what he has seen happen in Washington, DC the last two years is what prompted him to run for President.
Mr. Santorum visited the Washington Public Library before traveling on to Muscatine, Davenport and Clinton. The former Republican Senator served from 1995 to 2007.
