Washington County Fair Queen Moves On to State Fair

The 2011 Washington County Fair Queen is moving on to the State Fair Queen competition.
Shawna Sieren and statewide contestants for the Queen competition have been in Des Moines for the state fair since Tuesday. Sieren will be judged on personality, attitude, appearance and awareness, leadership, citizenship, contribution to community, overall appearance, charm, and poise. The crowning of the 2011 Iowa State Fair queen takes place Saturday.
