After the Washington County Board of Supervisors proposed changes to the makeup of the county’s supervisor districts and precincts, the city of Kalona needed to approve the addition of residents to the its precinct.  The council approved a measure Monday that adds the English River Township to the Kalona precinct.  This means eligible voters in the township will now vote in the city of Kalona.

The deadline for supervisors to submit the county’s new districts and precincts is tomorrow.
