Anhydrous Plant A Possibility in Keokuk County

Posted By News On @ 6:25 am In Today's Local News | Comments Disabled

A group of Keokuk County farmers have sought the approval of the county’s Board of Supervisors to move forward plans for an anhydrous plant near North English.  County Auditor Christy Bates says the plans are still in the early stages, but the group is looking to build on leased land about a mile and a half south of North English.  Bates says the board must approve the location of the plant first.

Once the group, headed by Cliff Daugherty of the Golden Furrow company, obtains permission from the board, it can move forward with its plans.  Bates says the board will make its decision at Monday’s Supervisors’ meeting.
