The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk softball team begins state tournament play in Fort Dodge today. The team had a pep rally send off in Kalona at the softball field yesterday afternoon. Today they take on Nodaway Valley. The Golden Hawks had a dramatic come from behind win rallying five runs across in the seventh to win 5-4. Their game this evening will be at 5-pm. Mid-Prairie is 23-18 while Nodaway Valley is 21-10. Because of state regulations we are unable to stream the broadcast on the internet.
