The Washington Demons will head to Ottumwa tonight to play for the right to go to the state baseball tournament. The Demons beat Fort Madison 7-1 on Monday. Washington scored four runs in the bottom of the third and added three more in the bottom of the sixth. The Demons now face Centerville, a team they were suppose to face early in the season in a doubleheader but was rained out. Centerville beat Knoxville 12-0 in six innings to get to this sub-state game. The Big Reds are 11-27 on the season while the Demons are 28-7.
