A popular area festival takes place in Kalona this weekend.  The 8^th Annual Kalona Antique Show will feature nearly 25 vendors from around the Midwest.  Ann Moeller of English River Antiques says residents can see many different items for sale, including arts, crafts, jewelry, and more.

There will also be a vendor purchasing gold and sterling.  The event kicks off 9:00 Friday morning and will run until 6:00 that evening, and the festival continues Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00 p.m.  The show will be at the Kalona Historical Village.
