The Highland Husky softball team used a big seventh inning to beat WACO. The two teams were tied 2-2 going into the last inning, but Highland put up seven runs in the top of the seventh to win 9-2. Mariah Freel held WACO to three hits. For Highland at the plate Taylor Vonnahme two hits and two rbi’s, Kayla Schneider 2 hits one rbi and scored two runs. Morgan Fisher had three hits including a double and an rbi. Alison Sojka had a triple. Highland is now 6-2 and 4-0 in the conference.
