In softball, #14 Highland was on the road facing Pekin. The Huskies spread runs throughout the game and led 6-2 when they added a run in the top of the seventh. However lightning came in the bottom of the seventh and the game was called. Since they went past five innings it is a completed game but since they didn’t complete the seventh the game ends with Highland winning 6-2 instead of 7-2. For the Huskies, Haili Hunter went 3-3 with a triple and scored two runs. Taylor Vonnahme had a hit and two rbi’s.
