Heat Awareness Day

[1]The National Weather Service along with the Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division has declared today at Heat Awareness Day in Iowa. During the day today, the National Weather Service will be issuing a Public Information Statement regarding heat safety. Heat and humidity are the two weather parameters that combine to create the Heat Index.
