Two Businesses “Swept” Yesterday

Representatives from Main Street Washington broke out the brooms to recognize new additions to the downtown area. Amy Vetter with Main Street Washington says their group called SWEEPs visited the storefronts of two businesses in downtown. SWEEPs is Supporting Washington’s Economic Enhancement Project.
She says this project was started in 2008 to celebrate the changes happening in downtown. The SWEEPs event was held for The Cellular Connection which is a new store in the downtown, and the other is BodyWrx who completed a façade renovation.
Both businesses received a new broom with a Main Street Washington apron and a decal showing that their business was swept.
