Library Director Stepping Down

[1]The Washington Public Library is going to be looking for a new director. Library Director Patrick Finney is leaving to accept work out of state.
Finney has been with the library since March of 2000 and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Philosophy and Religion from Truman State University and a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa.
A reception will be held Thursday at 5:00 pm in Central Park to thank Patrick for his years of service to the community.
