Be on the look out for formal gowns and tuxedos around Washington today.  Not only is tonight the formal gala at Washington’s State Theater, it’s also Washington High School’s Prom. The grand march is at 5:00 at the varsity gym.

Prom-goers then usually head out for a bite to eat.  That’s followed by the dance, which starts at 9:00 this evening and will go until midnight.  There is an after prom gathering at the junior high, which starts after the dance.
