The Demon girls golf team had a crazy dual win against Mount Pleasant here in Washington. In high school golf teams have six golfers play and of the six the best four scores are totaled for the team’s score. Demon Head Coach Len Kull says last night it was an unusual because after the first group came in, Mount Pleasant had a 13 stroke lead, but Washington ended up winning with a 195 and Mount Pleasant shot 213. As it turned out the Demons three, four, five, and six golfers’ scores counted towards the team scores. The meet medalist was Natalie Bouton of Mount Pleasant who shot a 41. For the Demons:
Shannon Paul 46
Emily Zehr 49
Jamie Zieglowski 49
Megan Butendorp 51
Now the Demons have off until next Tuesday when they will host Mount Pleasant again.
