Classical Guitarist to Visit Kalona This Month

[1]Courtesy: www.peterfletcher.comAcclaimed classical guitarist Peter Fletcher will make a trip to the Kalona Public Library later this month for another performance. Librarian Ann Skaden says the artist has been to Kalona before, but is making a return Thursday, May 12. Fletcher is expected to perform pieces by classical composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach.
He has appeared live at Carnegie Hall in New York City the last four years. Skaden says the Friends of the Kalona Public Library played an important role in bringing the guitarist to Kalona.
The performance is at 7:00 that evening in the Velma Skola Program room, and admission is free and open to the public.
