The Washington Soil and Water Conservation District has awarded a grant to the Washington County Conservation Board.  Teresa Munn with the Washington Soil and Water Conservation District says the $3,200 grant given to the Conservation Board will help protect, maintain and improve Washington County’s natural resources. 

Munn says the project will involve building a bird blind at Marr Park that will serve as a useful tool in their teaching program and be well-liked with the public also.
