The Wapello Community School District is meeting with focus groups tonight to discuss the replacement of outgoing Superintendent Dr. John Weidner.  School Board Secretary Eric Small says these focus groups consist of members of the community, Administrative staff, teachers, non‑certified staff, students and school board members.  He says these groups were formed last month and were part of the interviewing process.

Small says the focus groups are meeting in the Wapello High School Library tonight at 6:00.  Superintendent Weidner’s resignation takes effect June 30th.
