Victim’s Names Released in Columbus Junction Fire

The names of one of the deceased and the injured victim’s have been released in Saturday afternoon’s fatal fire in Columbus Junction. The Columbus Junction Police Department says one of those killed in the fire was 52 year old Timothy Miles who lived at 110 Main Street where the fire occurred. Those injured in the fire were 76 year old Paul Buffington who was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals by helicopter and 48 year old Percy Taylor of 110 Main Street refused treatment at the scene.
The second deceased victim’s name has not been released pending notification of the next of kin. KCII will continue to follow this story and bring you more information as it becomes official.
