At 2:45pm yesterday afternoon, the Washington County Safety Center received a 911 call of an out of control grass fire at 2287 Wayne Road near Ainsworth.  Responding to the scene were the Ainsworth and Washington Fire Departments.  The burn was spreading to an adjacent property upon arrival.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control at approximately 4:40 pm.  No injuries or damage was reported.
