The Washington County Extension is offering an Ornamental and Turfgrass Applicators course for commercial pesticide applicators.  Nancy Adrian with the Washington County Extension says this course is geared toward professionals who do yard work and those who need certification in categories 2, 3O, 3T, 3OT and 10.  She says the class will talk about the effect of pesticides on groundwater, pesticide stewardship, updates on today’s market herbicides, forest health, and possibly discuss the emerald ash borer.
