Absentee ballots are available for the Washington School District April 5th special election to extend the Physical Plant Equipment Levee. 

Washington Schools Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen says these funds are to be used to improve district infrastructures, repairs and transportation.  He says districts are also allowed to use these funds for safety equipment and technology and they may not be used for salaries. 

Voting by an absentee ballot may be done at the Washington County Auditor’s Office until 5pm on April 4th or through the mail.  For more information, call the Washington County Auditor’s Office.
