Governor Terry Branstad had chosen three individuals to sit on the state Supreme Court.  Branstad chose District Court Judge Bruce Zager of Waterloo, Court of Appeals Judge Edward Mansfield from Des Moines and Thomas Waterman from Pleasant Valley.  Judge Michael R. Mullins from Washington was one of nine finalists for a replacement on the high court after an interview process last month.  Governor Branstad released his selections Wednesday afternoon.  Judge Mullins was appointed as a District Judge in 2002 for District 8 which covers 14 counties in southeast Iowa.
