The Washington County Extension is offering an Ornamental and Turfgrass Applicators course for commercial pesticide applicators.  Nancy Adrian with the Washington County Extension says this course is for professionals who do yard work.  She says this class is a continuing instructional course offered to those who need certification in categories 2, 3O, 3T, 3OT and 10.

Adrian says the class will talk about the effect of pesticides on groundwater, pesticide stewardship, updates on today’s market herbicides, forest health, and possibly discuss the emerald ash borer.  She says the class begins at 1:30 on Wednesday, March 2nd.  For more information regarding this class, contact the Washington County Extension.
