Edna L. Jones of Fairfield Community High School has been nominated as a U.S. Presidential Scholar based upon her academic achievements.  The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964 to recognize and honor the nations most distinguished high school students.  Those winning the recognition will be notified in early May.

Fifty seven Iowa High School seniors were nominated.
