The Demon wrestling team had a couple of kids finish third at a very strong Highland Tournament on Saturday. Head Coach Brent Van Weelden says it was a very strong field with 10 or 12 wrestlers in each weight. For the Demons:
103 Fletcher Green 3rd (Green avenged three losses from earlier in the season)
130 Zach Walgren 3rd
145 Parker Turner 4th
285 Gavin Parker 5th
135 Tyler Jaspering 6th.
The Demons have a quadrangular in Tipton tomorrow with Lone Tree, English Valleys, and Tipton. Then on Thursday they have a special night when they host Mount Pleasant. Thursday will be a Coaches vs. Cancer night and there will be a lot of extra things going on to raise money for the cause.
