Jefferson Board of Supervisors Adopts Hazard Mitigation Plan

Morning Sun Balloon Day

Description: Morning Sun Care Center will celebrate Balloon Ascension Day on Sunday, January 9 from 2:00 to 4:00. Residents and community members will write a message or make a wish, attach it to a balloon and watch it go into the sky. After the launch, join them for cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate. Description: The Washington Public Library will begin its winter reading programs for children and teens on Monday Jan. 10th. Participants in the program will be reading “Fablehaven” by Brandon Mull. A book discussion will take place every Monday in January at 4pm. Teens are asked to stop by or call the library to reserve a copy of the book.
