Washington 4-H Skating Party

Title: Washington 4-H Skating Party
Description: The Washington County 4-H will be holding a 4-H Skating Party on Sunday, January 23, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Wellman Rec. Center. Those youth in grades K-4th are encouraged to come at 1:00 to get a head start on skating. All youth can skate from 2:00-4:00. The Skating Party is open to all 4-H’ers, families, and friends. The cost is $4 to skate. Contact the Washington County Extension Office at 319-653-4811, with any questions.

Description: All those aged 16 and older are invited to Crooked Creek Christian Camp on Sunday, January 9 for this month\’s meeting of Climbing Club. Going from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Activity Center, the time will be spent learning how to climb, tie knots and belay. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for high school students.
