A girl with Kalona ties has graduated from basic military training.  Air Force Airman Kerra A. Bush graduated at Lackland Airforce Base in San Antonio, Texas.  During this intensive eight week program Bush completed training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.  Completion of this training earns her four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.  Airman Kerra Bush is the daughter of Carol Emery of Moore, Okla., and Roger Bush of Kalona.
