Compensation Board Meeting

[1]The Washington County Compensation Board is holding their second meeting. Washington County Auditor Bill Fredrick says this meeting is to establish the salary levels for elected County officials. He says the Compensation Board is directed by the Iowa Code to recommend proposed salary ceilings each fiscal year for the Board of Supervisors, Sheriff, Auditor, Treasurer, Recorder and Attorney. The Board is meeting tonight at 5:30 in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in the Washington County Courthouse.
