In track and field, the Highland Husky girls had a special group of relay runners. In 2009 they came seconds away from winning a state title and in 2010 they were hungry for another chance. The 4×2 was their strongest and at the 2010 state meet the Huskies won the championship by three seconds. Running in that 4×2 was Allison Sojka, Kayla Schnieder, Mollie Kleopfer, and Brittany Stewart. Highland also finished third in the 4×4, fourth in the Sprint Medley, and fifth in the 4×1.
