The Riverside Senior Village has won a grant that will be used to make their apartments more energy efficient.  The Facility will receive a $110,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines.  Facility Manager Don Yoder says they plan to replace all of the windows and siding on their apartments. This will reduce utility and maintenance costs as well as improve the look of the facility. He says these changes will allow them to avoid increasing rent levels over the coming years.
