Title: Learn at Lunch
Description: The next Learn at Lunch will be Monday, December 20th from Noon – 1p.m. at the U of I Extension Office at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Lunch will be $7 and Kirkwood Community College will be presenting: \’Simulation Center.\’ This presentation will review how the Simulation Center came to be and how it is being used to meet the needs of Kirkwood nursing and Allied Health students.

Marlys L Dusenbery

Funeral services for 86 year old Marlys L. Dusenbery of Washington will be held at 1:30 pm Friday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm Thursday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home with family visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 Thursday evening. A memorial has been established to West Chester United Methodist Church, Hospice of Washington County or the United Presbyterian Home.

Chester McChurch

Memorial services for 92 year old Chester McChurch of Coweta, Oklahoma, formerly of Washington will be held Sunday at 1:30pm at the Fort Des Moines Church of Christ in Des Moines. Private internment services will be at the Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
