The radon mitigation process at the Washington County Safety Center has been completed. County Supervisor Wes Rich says the Safety Center tested positive for radon in November and the mitigation process was started immediately to fix the problem. Rich says a final test will be conducted to ensure the radon levels are safe for Safety Center employees. Rich says he is anticipating a good result from the final test.
