Anthony Michael Koehlhoeffer who is charged with robbing two Jefferson County Offices in October is now facing assault charges in Scott County. Scott County Sheriff Dennis Conard says Koehlhoeffer is charged with assault causing injury after he struck a correctional officer in his jail cell. The Sheriff says Koehlhoeffer was receiving treatment in his cell when an officer observed contraband in the cell, when he tried to remove the items, he was assaulted by Koehlhoeffer. The officer received cuts and bruises and is ok. Koelhoeffer faces other felony and misdemeanor charges in Scott, Jefferson and Johnson Counties. Sheriff Conard says Koehlhoeffer will go to trial first in Scott County.
