Title: American Legion Donations
Description: The American Legion Post 29 in Washington, Iowa is announcing a community-wide donations drive to support the deployed soldiers of the 134th Medical Company. All food donations must be non-perishable items. Donations of Games also accepted. Financial donations are also being accepted to help pay for postage and to purchase additional items. All donations may be delivered to the Washington County Ambulance Barn, 1120 N 8th in Washington during regular business hours. Anyone with questions or for more information may call Barbara Duder, American Legion Commander, at 319-461-4518.

Title: SE Iowa Live Animal Christmas Play
Description: Southeast Iowa Live Animal Christmas Play will be DECEMBER 11-12. The 2010 production will be presented Saturday, December 11th at 11:00am, 2:00pm, and 5:00pm. Then on Sunday, December 12th at 10:30am. Members of the Marion Avenue Baptist Church comprise the cast and crew. Title: Oboe and Piano…Unplugged!
Description: \”Oboe and Piano…Unplugged! (A Non-digital Experience)\” featuring Bob McConnell on oboe and Susan See on Piano. Come to the second floor of the Washington Public Library on Wednesday, November 10 from 12:15-12:45 and disconnect from the world for 30 minutes. This will be the first FREE noon hour concert since the vintage Steinway was dedicated in October. All are welcome to attend.
